The Terry Fox run is on the horizon.

The Terry Fox Foundation launches its 44th Annual Terry Fox Run in North Bay Sunday.

Volunteers are putting together the last preparations for the run set to take place on Sunday, September 15.

"This year we will again be at the Rotary Pavilion and the run will be along North Bay’s beautiful waterfront as always, but we have shortened the route to be more inclusive and accommodating," says a news release.

The route is now 2.5 km so participants have the option to complete the course as many times as they like, or to reach their 5K and 10K goals.

Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. with welcome remarks at 9 a.m. The course will be open until noon so participants can take their time doing their run/walk.

"This year: invite your associates, colleagues, family, and friends to start a Team to honour a loved one, to engage and inspire your workplace, or to bring your friends together for a good cause. https://terryfox.org/terry-fox-run/teams/

Everyone is welcome!
