As a strategic governance board, members play a crucial role in upholding the YMCA’s charitable purpose while overseeing and monitoring risk management and long-term planning. The YMCA is currently recruiting individuals with expertise in the following areas:
- Legal
- Financial (CPA designation or equivalent)

“The YMCA has been a cornerstone of community health and well-being, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who can help us continue to grow and serve,” said Antoine Vezina, Board Chair for the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario. “This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organization that empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and fosters leadership.”
As a board member, individuals will contribute to shaping the YMCA’s future, ensuring that it remains a vibrant, accessible, and sustainable organization for generations to come.
