Where did summer go?

You might well ask that question when you hear that Environment Canada has issued the season's first frost advisory for rural areas.

Included is:

  • North Bay - West Nipissing
  • New Liskeard - Temagami,
  • Deep River - Whitney - Eastern Algonquin Park,

Patchy frost may damage some plants and crops in frost-prone areas from 3 to 7 a.m.

Mostly likely to be hit are rural areas and higher terrain away from Lake Nipissing. The City of North Bay is not expected to receive frost.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
