The North Bay Parks Department will be removing the wooden boardwalk along the waterfront marina this week as part of a redevelopment project involving the removal of damaged and rotting wooden boards.
Replacement of the pathway light electrical line and rehabilitation of the flower beds between the boardwalk and the lake will also take place.
This work will be completed in sections to allow continued access to the marina.
The boardwalk will be left as aggregate through the fall and will have a new surface installed in the spring.
