On the 16th of April shortly after 11 AM Cst. Andre Berube and Jason Long of the North Bay Police Service observed two individuals known to them for being wanted on a Break and Enter charge. A foot chase ensued within the city and one of the suspects fled to a back yard and was captured by PC Berube. The North Bay Fire Chief Ted McCullough happened to be nearby and the officer asked him to hold the suspect while he searched for the other male. He was quickly found and arrested.
Adam MARTIN 20 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Break and Enter and Theft, Possession of Break and Enter Tools and Breach of Probation. Jason TOPPS 24 years old of 4th Av. E. is charged with the same offences. Both were kept in custody for a bail hearing.
