Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.

Hazards:
Snow, heavy at times, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm.
Locally higher amounts possible over higher terrain.

Timing:
Continuing this morning through early this evening.

Discussion:
Snow associated with a low pressure system will continue to spread into the area today. An additional 5 to 10 cm are expected today before snow tapers off early this evening. Snow over Greater Sudbury and vicinity as well as Espanola-Killarney areas is expected to taper later this morning.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
