Environment Canada has issued a weather advisory for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing,
- Greater Sudbury and vicinity
- Temiskaming Shores - Temagami
- Burk's Falls - Bayfield Inlet
- Deep River - Whitney - Eastern Algonquin Park
- Huntsville - Baysville
A winter weather travel advisory is in effect.
Expect reduced visibility with blowing and heavy snow. Wind gusts of 60 to 70 km/h after midnight through Sunday morning.
It's the result of the passage of a cold front.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
