Almaguin Highlands OPP says a moose on Highway 11 south near Fern Glen Road in Perry Township caused a four-vehicle collision on Friday morning.
The accident, which happened at 10 a.m., saw a tractor-trailer collide with three other vehicles, after traffic had slowed down due to a moose on the road. Police report two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the Almaguin Highlands OPP.
The Perry Township Fire Department and Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services assisted.
