Vaillancourt to Seek Re-election

Darryl Vaillancourt officially announced that he will be seeking a second term as city councillor.

Vaillancourt says that his top priority for the next term will be securing key funding from other levels of government.

Daryl Vaillancourt is pleased to announce he will seek a second term on North Bay City

Council. Daryl is very proud of his accomplishments as member of council and believes a

second term will give him the opportunity to build upon a solid foundation created over

the past 3 years.

"It took a lot of necessary hard work to get where we are. The city has an improved credit

rating, our debt is manageable and decreasing and we’ve increased our reserves", says

Mr. Vaillancourt, "I’ve rolled up my sleeves and did my part with the rest of council and I look forward to building upon our successes in the next term".

Mr. Vaillancourt currently serves on the Airport Board, Health Unit Board, Heritage Festival Committee, Planning and Advisory Committee and the General Government Committee of Council.

Vaillancourt adds "My goal for the next term is to continue to work hard towards a better quality of life for our residents and to continue the dialogue with other levels of government in order to secure required funding for infrastructure in North Bay."
