The retail outlet is opening soon in the former Sears location at Northgate Shopping Centre according to CKAT.
Officials say they expect a quick turn-around with an opening planned in a couple of weeks.
Urban Planet’s website says the store caters to a broad core demographic of young men and women aged 16 to 24 and focus on the latest fashion, footwear and accessory trends.
North Bay previously had an Urban Planet location in the North Bay Mall closed in April 2018 because of lack of business.

During its final days at the North Bay Mall, everything was on sale for two dollars.
Winners, which occupied the Urban Planet location previously, closed its North Bay Mall location and moved into McKeown Commons Mall next to Canadian Tire.
