Exploring the Colours of Ukraine is a celebration of creative diversity, fortitude, hope, and inspiration for the future that will open for public viewing late this month.
The Vest Project, in collaboration with The Kolo Fund, has teamed up for the upcoming art exhibit.
"This remarkable event will showcase 24 exquisite paintings by renowned Ukrainian artists, celebrating the rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture and the indomitable spirit of its people," says a news release.
The Kolo Fund, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the defenders of Ukraine, has donated 27 paintings to The Vest Project. "We want to stop atrocities by delivering hi-tech equipment to the front line," says its website.
"These artworks, carefully transported from Ukraine, a country enduring conflict, serve as a testament to the resilience and determination of the Ukrainian people. The sale of these paintings will directly fund the acquisition of non-lethal protective gear and emergency equipment for the courageous frontline defenders of Ukraine," says the release.
The event occurs Thursday, October 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the office of John D'Agostino, 255A Fisher Street.
"This exclusive exhibition promises to be a visual feast, with a selection of paintings by artists whose work grace galleries and private collections worldwide. While three paintings have already found new homes, the remaining 24 pieces offer a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts and supporters of Ukraine to acquire breathtaking works of art.

The Vest Project is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing non-lethal protective gear and emergency equipment to support the brave frontline defenders of Ukraine. Through various initiatives, we strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who protect their homeland.
The local group has raised just over $100,000 since efforts to help Ukraine started just over a year ago.
