Union Gas staff pitches in and cleans up a mess

Thank you to Union Gas for taking on this week's Wednesday Night Clean Up along the Marshall Park Avenue area.

Shopping carts, a bike frame, two old wooden cart wheels, a rusted bed frame and a number of bags of litter were picked up in between rain showers. Last week's clean up had been rained out but the group was determined not to miss it for a second week.

Thanks to both Linda's, Trudy, Jennifer, Tracy, Steve, Peter and the rest of the crew for pitching in to make North Bay a bit cleaner.

"It is always a surprise and a disappointment to see how much junk gets thrown by the roadside, especially into the creek areas," commented one of the volunteers.
