Two men have been charged after a knife attack Friday evening on King St. W.
Around 10 p.m., four men wearing bandanas over their face carrying weapons entered an apartment in the 400 Block of King Street West where they confronted a man, stabbing him multiple times about the head and body.
The four attackers then fled.
The victim was taken to the North Bay Regional Health Centre and received numerous stitches to repair the injuries.
This morning police said they charged Broady McKenna, age 20, of North Bay.
McKenna was arrested at 10:24 p.m. on Friday, October 24th, following a traffic stop by North Bay Police.
As a result of the investigation, police charged him with aggravated assault; assault with a weapon; break, enter and commit; and breach of probation. He was held in custody for bail.
Also charged is Alexander Butler, age 22, of Mattawa.
Butler was arrested at 11:55 a.m. on Sunday.
