At approximately 12:15 a.m., on Saturday October 27, officers from the North Bay Detachment of the OPP were called to to a pickup truck crash on Highway 654 in Callander.

Officers found a single vehicle with two people inside. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries while the passenger sustained minor injuries.
Highway 654 was closed for approximately seven hours while an OPP Technical Collision Investigator and an OPP Collision Reconstructionist conducted analysis of the scene.
No charges have been laid at this time but this collision remains under investigation.
