Update: The highway reopened both lanes at 7:30 p.m.

Ontario 511 reports that a collision on Highway 11 this afternoon has closed the roadway in both directions between Thibeault Hill in North Bay and Highway 64 West near Marten River.
The accident happened around 3 p.m. and has traffic backed up. Roads in the area were bare and dry with good visibility at the time of the crash, according to Ontario 511.
Drivers headed north can drive to Sturgeon Falls as a detour, take Highway 64 East to Highway 11 just north of Marten River, then turn left on Highway 11.
