Top 10 gardens announced

That is what North Bay Blooms is all about - encouraging city beautification of our neighbourhoods through gardening.

What a summer it has been so far. So nice and warm. And we finally got rain in July!

The Horticultural Society's judges had a very hot week to do the preliminary judging of the front yard garden contest.

We were rewarded with the number and quality of many new gardens we enjoyed across the city this year, "Geri Openshaw, North Bay Blooms Chair said.

"I love that North Bay gardeners are sharing their passion for others to enjoy. That is what North Bay Blooms is all about - encouraging city beautification of our neighbourhoods through gardening. Gardening gets people outside and exercising too. That is a win-win in my mind. Happy gardening."
