A Huntsville man died tragically yesterday after an accident installing tire chains.
Police say shortly before 9 a.m., Almaguin Highlands OPP officers responded to a report of a transport truck having rolled over a 24-year-old male on Gordon Point Road in Magnetawan.
Investigation showed that the driver of the vehicle was attempting to install tire chains when the vehicle rolled forward on top of him.
Devin Gilpin from Huntsville was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Ministry of Labour.
