Only minor injuries are reported after a three-vehicle accident over the lunch hour on the 600 block of Lakeshore Drive.
The accident happened around 11:40 and cleanup continued past 1 o'clock, so motorists should exercise caution in the area.
The vehicles all appeared heading northbound, with the car being forced across the southbound lanes and into a grassy area.
There is a detour down Banner Ave.and Sunset Blvd.
The accident involved one car and two vans, one of which belongs to the Humane Society.
