Thieves steal flowers, leave garden gnomes

Two people entered the rear of the property with a large bin in hand and they appeared to empty the contents of that bin on the ground, including gnomes

Bracebridge OPP is investigating an unusual theft in Gravenhurst and is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspects.

On October 11 at 10:50 a.m., Bracebridge OPP officers were dispatched to reports of a theft of flowers and a garbage bin that occurred overnight at a business address on Bay Street near Muskoka Road.

Officers began collecting surveillance footage and determined that two people entered the rear of the property with a large bin in hand and they appeared to empty the contents of that bin on the ground, including gnomes, and continue their work, ultimately stealing several items, including flowers.
