North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) has named the Cardiorespiratory Clinic in recognition of The Redpath Group – Mining Contractors and Engineers.
"Redpath is demonstrating an unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare in our community, donating more than $900,000 since their first donation to the construction of the Health Centre in 2002," says a news release.
"Over the years, Redpath's philanthropic contributions have played a pivotal role in enhancing healthcare services at NBRHC. The unveiling of The Redpath Group – Mining Contractors and Engineers Cardiorespiratory Clinic recognizes several leadership gifts to some of our communities largest fundraising campaigns over the last 15 years, including the Seeing More Clearly Campaign for our communities first MRI, the Cancer Care, Close to Home Campaign and the recent MRI upgrade. These gifts have been instrumental in the acquisition of advanced medical equipment, particularly in the fields of diagnostic imaging and cancer care."
"Their commitment to the well-being of our community has been a driving force behind the hospital's ability to provide exceptional healthcare," said Paul Heinrich, NBRHC President. "This celebration not only marks the naming of a clinic but also underscores the collaborative spirit that exists between businesses and our hospital."
In response, the President of Redpath Americas, Paul Healy, expressed his appreciation, stating, "At Redpath, the well-being of the communities where we operate is paramount to us, and we're proud to contribute to advancements in healthcare at NBRHC. We look forward to continuing our partnership and making a lasting difference."
The Chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees, and retired Chief Financial Officer, Redpath Canada, Martin Hunka, shared remarks on behalf of the board, stating, “The Redpath Group has been a consistent corporate donor and supporter of our Hospital for more than two decades."
