The Mayne Man

Candidate for North Bay City Council Chris Mayne held a kick off barbecue celebration at the Kiwanis Band Shell on the Waterfront Saturday.

Mayne, with his family at his side, addressed his supporters highlighting key campaign issues that ranged from the return of the Economic Development Committee, Friends of the Waterfront, the La Vase Portage and Adult Lifestyle living.

Mayne has garnered a number of notable supporters including former mayors Stan Lawlor and Bruce Goulet.

In fact Goulet interrupted the wrap up portion of the speech to vocally endorse the candidate by speaking of Mayne’s merits.

“It is important that we speak about the merits of this man, we need him to finish high,” states Goulet.

“If you believe in this man as I do, start talking because he’s got to finish first, second or third.”
