TWO MEN FACING DRUG CHARGES

A 27-year-old man and a 29-year-old man are facing charges after being checked by members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police at a rest spot on Highway 11 just south of Highway 65 on the 10 August 2006.

Provincial Constable John HOYT checked the vehicle at a rest spot on Highway 11 in the City of Temiskaming Shores at approximately 5:00 p.m. Further investigation resulted in charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana).

Ryan CARREAU 27 of Kirkland Lake and Brian PASCOE 29 of Matachewan are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. They will appear in Haileybury Court on the 1 October 2006.

RECOVERED TRACTOR UNDER INVESTIGATION

Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a recovered stolen Tractor that was found abandoned in the Temiskaming Square Mall on the 7 August 2006.

OPP officers were called to the Temiskaming Square Mall in the City of Temiskaming Shores on the 7 August 2006 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The Tractor a 1997 Case International red in colour was reported stolen on the 7 August 2006 at approximately 5:25 p.m.

IMPAIRED OPERATION OF VEHICLE

A North Bay man is facing charges after a member of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police was called to a motor vehicle collision on Sixth Avenue in the Town of Englehart on the 11 August 2006 at approximately 7:55 p.m.

Provincial Constable Kyle LARIVIERE attended the motor vehicle collision scene, further investigation resulted with a man being brought back to the police station for breath tests.

Robin DEROSIER 31 of North Bay is charged with driving a motor vehicle while having consumed more then the legal limit of alcohol. He will appear in Haileybury Court on the 13 September 2006.

MAN FACES CHARGES

A 30-year-old man faces charges after members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence in the former Town of Haileybury on the 9 August 2006.

The Ontario Provincial Police were called to a residence on Little Street on the 9 August 2006 at approximately 9:47 a.m. reference a disturbance. OPP officers arrested a male person after completing their investigation.

Pierre VEZEAU 30 of Hull, Quebec is charged with Common Assault. He will appear in Haileybury Court on the 27 September 2006.

Provincial Constable Ken HELBIN is the investigating officer.

REFUSE TO PROVIDE BREATH SAMPLE

A Temiskaming Shores man is facing charges after a member of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police was called to a motor vehicle collision on Rorke Avenue in the former Town of Haileybury on the 8 August 2006 at approximately 11:18 p.m.

Provincial Constable Schone TARRANT attended the motor vehicle collision scene, further investigation resulted with a man being charged after he failed to provide breath sample in an approved road side screening device.

Edward LANGLOIS 66 of New Liskeard is charged with Fail To Provide Breath Sample. He will appear in Haileybury Court on the 30 August 2006.
