Here's one we haven't seen before.
Manitoulin OPP seized a taser, disguised as a cellphone, during a traffic stop yesterday. (see video below)
The driver was charged with having a prohibited device.
Police also seized cannabis, and a large quantity of cash, The driver was also charged with "cannabis readily available," and "possession of property obtained by crime."
The taser phones are easily obtained on Amazon in the U.S. and are advertised as a self-defense device. "The Small Tazer Is Hidden Inside A Correct Sized Replica Mobile Cell Phone That looks Like The Popular I Phone Or Samsung Galaxy Models," says one ad selling the device for about $25.
It also comes with a "tear gas pepper spray keychain."
