The North Bay Food Bank held its first Cookie Walk at Burrows Country Store Saturday.
The event featured live music from the Ukulele Club and members of the North Bay Symphony.
Food bank manager Amber Livingstone says that over 3,600 cookies were sold!
"We wish to thank everyone who came out and purchased cookies, as well as our behind-the-scenes bakers who generously volunteered their time and baking skills. We also wish to acknowledge our volunteers at the cookie walk for their assistance in making the event a success," says Livingstone,
The North Bay Food Bank is available to take food and monetary donations year round.
The food bank is located at 1016 Fisher Street in North Bay and is open Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
