The Sturgeon River House Museum is hosting its Fall Festival and Market on Saturday, October 21, and vendors are welcome. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and vendors can setup at 8:45 a.m. The Museum is located at 250 Fort Road, in Sturgeon Falls.
Booth space is $20, and additional tables are available for $5. To register a spot, here is the form.
Visitors can peruse the local vendor market and enjoy family activities throughout the event. Family admission is $4.
Music will be provided by Lynn Blunt, a performer from North Bay who has released three albums of original music. You may have seen her at the Calander Cranberry Day or at the CIBC Run for the Cure. Her and her guitar turn up all over the region, strumming out a nice mix of original and cover songs.
Also slotted to appear is Steve Featherstone, of the Reptile Adventure Camp. Some of his reptile friends will be joining in on the festivities.
The Sturgeon River House Museum is located on the west bank of the Sturgeon River and works to preserve the heritage of the Municipality of West Nipissing. Emphasis is on the fur trade era from 1623 to 1879 and the pioneer days in the municipality between 1878 and 1939.
