Student Has Altercation With Officer

On the 23rd of Sept. at approximately 11:40 PM Cst. K Rice of the North Bay Police Service attended a local Secondary School re. a disturbance.

The officer arrived and was met by a male who began to punch and kick at him. The male was arrested and transported to police Headquarters.

During the melee a teacher was slightly injured.

Nigel HALES 18 years old of Village Rd. in Astorville is charged with Assault Peace Officer and is to attend court on the 31st of Oct.
