The North Bay Pride Concert on Saturday, September 14 will take place at the Capitol Centre and will be a highlight of the North Bay Pride week celebrations.

Kiesa Rae Ellestad, 35, known professionally as Kiesza is a Canadian singer and multi-instrumentalist from Calgary. In 2017, she was involved in a car accident in Toronto, suffering severe injuries that required her to take several years off to recover.

Kiesza will be headlining the concert. (see video below)

"Known for her hit single “Hideaway” and her dynamic stage presence, Kiesza has recently released her new album, Crying and Dancing, which is already receiving rave reviews. Her performance in North Bay is set to be nothing short of spectacular," says a release.

Logan Staats: A Grammy-nominated artist and talented singer-songwriter, Logan Staats hails from the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. He has made a name for himself with his soulful voice and poignant lyrics. Logan won the first season of The Launch and has since continued to captivate audiences with his raw, emotive performances. His appearance at North Bay Pride adds significant star power and cultural representation to the event.

Dani Doucette: Also opening the show is Dani Doucette, an up-and-coming artist who is already making waves on the radio. Her latest single, "Midnight Sunshine," is a vibrant summer hit, and her empowering track "Feminenergy" has been gaining traction for its strong feminist message and catchy beats. Dani is poised to become one of the next big names in music.

“We are beyond thrilled to welcome Kiesza to North Bay for this year’s Pride Concert,” said Brandon Mayer, event coordinator for North Bay Pride. “With Logan Staats, a remarkable artist from the Six Nations, and Dani Doucette, whose songs like ‘Midnight Sunshine’ and ‘Feminenergy’ are resonating with audiences, this lineup represents some of the best talent in music today. Kiesza’s new album Crying and Dancing is fantastic, and we can’t wait for the community to experience her live performance. This concert is not just a celebration of music but also of community, diversity, and inclusion.”

Time: Doors open at 6:30 and the concert starts at 7:30.
