Algonquin Ave. has once again been easy picking for North Bay police to set up a speed trap.
The traffic enforcement officer set one up for 45 minutes this morning, specifically targeting drivers for speeding in the community safety zone on Algonquin Avenue.
Seventeen drivers were issued tickets for speeding in the 40 km/hour zone, with the highest speed registering at 73 km per hour.
Tickets for speeding are doubled in community safety zones.
