Second person arrested in CIBC robbery

A second person has been arrested in connection with the March 21st CIBC Robbery bank robbery.

Yesterday in Peterborough Country, the OPP ROPE Squad (Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement) arrested Andrew Lamore.

The arrest included the execution of the arrest warrant secured by North Bay Police regarding the North Bay Robbery. Lamore also faces numerous other criminal charges from other jurisdictions.

He has been remanded into custody and will appear in the Cobourg Courthouse today for a Bail Hearing.

On the 21st of March shortly before 10:40 a.m., a man and woman entered the CIBC Bank at 195 Main Street West in North Bay and presented a teller with a note demanding money.

Police are not releasing the amount of money stolen.

Police credit members of the public for identifing the suspects after security video was released.

In the evening of 28th March, a 32 year old woman,  Ludmila Lishchenko was arrested for robbery by the OPP in Caledon during an unrelated investigation.
