Schools host open houses for families

Events are planned throughout region to greet future students

If you’re registering your child into a new school come September, there are a few open houses you may be interested in.

Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord is opening the doors to families at its three high schools on Wednesday, January 15th, and Chippewa Secondary School is hosting a “Welcome to High School” open house for grade 8 students on January 16th, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord noted in a release, “All families are invited to visit their local French-language school, meet the dedicated staff, and enjoy an exceptional experience. French immersion students are invited.”

As for the board’s high school open houses, here are the details:

  • École secondaire catholique Franco-CitĂ© located at 90 Main Street in Sturgeon Falls

Élisabeth-Bruyère enrolls students from grades 7 to 12.

Note that registration is required for all Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord open houses.
