Residents of Premier Road, in the city's south end, are saying there was a road rage incident yesterday afternoon between the drivers of two pickup trucks, with a fistfight thrown in..
BayToday reached out to NBPS but has not yet heard back with confirmation. We'll print additional information as it becomes available.
Residents say the incident involved two men. One driver followed the other down Premier Road and rammed his vehicle into the other, pushing it into a ditch. This happened between 3 and 3:30 p.m.
A resident says the two men got out of their vehicles and one of them beat up the other. Police arrested the second driver.
A resident says five police cruisers, a firetruck, and two ambulances responded to the incident.
Traffic was backed up along Premier Rd. as police blocked the road leading to Champlain Park.
It's expected police will issue a statement later this morning.
