The North Bay Police Service wishes to report that Airport Road, as well as all entrances to the Canadian Forces Base North Bay, have now been re-opened, previously closed due to extreme weather

The North Bay Police Sgt. Jim Kilroy says that Airport Road between Little Down Lane and Duxford Road, the west entrance to the CFB North Bay, has been closed due to whiteout conditions.
Also, police have closed the roadway between Carmichael Drive and Duxford Road, the east entrance to the CFB.
Police, Fire, Ambulance and Military Police are responding to reports of several motor vehicle collisions along this stretch of roadway.
The access to the Canadian Forces Base off of Carmichael Drive at Ayrs Street, the south entrance to the CFB, remains open.
