TORONTO — Heading into the last long weekend of the summer, Natural Resources Minister David Ramsay reminds the public that Ontario Parks are open for business and are not affected by a labour disruption at Canada’s national parks.

“Our 104 operating provincial parks are open and operating normally,” said Ramsay. “All our park services are up and running, including the website and the reservation services.”

Visit www.OntarioParks.com or call 1-888-ONT-PARK (668-7275) for more information about your favourite provincial park or to reserve a campsite.

Ontario Parks host more than 10 million visitors annually.

Parks Canada workers have been on strike for three weeks.
