Powassan Library Needs your help to Win!

Powassan and District Union Public Library entered the Aviva Community Foundations annual competition for $100,000 in support of the “Invest in Your Future: Library Expansion Project”.

Voting opened on October 11 and will close on October 28, 2016.

The projects with the most votes will advance into the finalist rounds and automatically win $5,000.

The Library needs your help by passing on the word and voting for their expansion project!

This can be done by registering at: https://www.avivacommunityfund.org/. The Powassan Library’s project will benefit the public by creating a welcoming and accessible space for children, teens, adults, and people with disabilities, as well as additional programming space through the re-organization of the existing space and building additions.

Another way to be involved is by sharing the post on the Powassan Library’s Facebook Page to be entered to win a ticket to Greening Nipissing’s Harvest Dinner, which will be held at the Elk’s Lodge on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The winner will be announced Thursday at 9 p.m.

For more information about the competition, or to find out how you can make a donation to the upcoming Expansion Project, contact Chelsie Legree at 705-724-3618 or email:[email protected].
