It was a Halloween tradition before COVID, and now the popular Fire & Emergency Services Halloween Night for Kids is making a comeback.

The event has been on hiatus since 2020 due to the pandemic, but will once again take place at Station 1 on Princess Street.

A "spine-tingling" Haunted House will be hosted by Community Living and a robotics demonstration by FIRST Team 1305 will also take place.

Organizers are reaching out to the community for assistance to help make the event a success and are in need of the following items:

  • Wrapped candy and chips
  • Pumpkins of all sizes
  • Straw bales and corn stalks
  • Cash donations are also greatly appreciated

Donations can be dropped off at Station 1, located at 119 Princess West. For those who require it, pick-up arrangements can be made by calling 705-474-5662.

Everyone, regardless of age, is invited to attend on Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. (or until the candy supply lasts), to partake in the Halloween festivities.

North Bay Fire & Emergency Services extends its appreciation to the community for its support in making this a safe and enjoyable Halloween treat for the children in North Bay.
