The North Bay Police Service is warning the public that there is open water off the boat launch in Callander.
A local towing company reported the concern to police this morning after a vehicle went through the ice about 300 feet off the boat launch in Callander.
As a result, there is open water approximately 9 feet by 6 feet in area.
The public is advised to avoid the marked and cordoned off area.
