OPP and the West Nipissing Police Service joined forces to execute a search warrant at a Queen Street home in Sturgeon Falls.
During the search police seized approximately 1,600 methamphetamine pills, Canadian currency, and other drug paraphernalia.
Paul Lacroix, 34 and Glen Poulin, 26, now face drug-related charges.
Lacroix is from Sturgeon Falls while Poulin is from Jocko Point.
Meanwhile, in other WNPS news, officers are investigating a mischief and theft that occurred in the municipal complex parking lot situated on O’Hara Street in Sturgeon Falls. The victim’s vehicle driver’s side window was smashed and her wallet was stolen. The wallet contained personal identification.
The vehicle alarm alerted a passerby who notified the police.
And an Ottawa Street resident contacted police to report that an outdoor projector was stolen from her yard. The projector, capable of producing light shows, is valued at approximately $120 and was taken during the night. No suspects have been identified at this time.
