Police say no arson connected to recent vehicle fire

The North Bay Police Service and North Bay Fire and Emergency Services have determined that a vehicle fire that occurred on June 28, 2021, in the 100-block of Pinewood Park Drive was not arson and was non-criminal

The North Bay Police Service along with the North Bay Fire and Emergency Services entered into a joint investigation regarding a vehicle fire that occurred in the 100-block of Pinewood Park Drive, North Bay on June 28. 

"After reviewing video surveillance and obtaining witness statements, the North Bay Police Service and North Bay Fire and Emergency Services have determined the cause of the fire was not arson," the North Bay Police stated in a release.  

The cause of the fire at this time is undetermined, but there is no suspected criminal element. There is no threat to public safety.
