Police intensify search for missing man

Don't be concerned if you see an increase in police in the area of Highway 11 North, Airport Road, and McKeown Avenue (Thibeault Hill)

There will be an increased police presence in the area of Thibeault Hill today in a search for a missing Brampton man.

Marcus, 51, was previously reported missing by the Peel Regional Police Service. His last name has not been revealed by police.

Don't be concerned if you see an increase in police in the area of Highway 11 North, Airport Road, and McKeown Avenue (Thibeault Hill). North Bay Police Service and OPP are conducting the search to assist Peel Regional Police find Marcus, who was reported missing on August 4.

Marcus is described as:

  • White skin
  • Height: Approximately 5’10”
  • Medium Build
  • Hair: Short red hair and red beard
  • Wearing: Grey long-sleeve shirt, grey cargo shorts, black reading glasses and carrying a black and green backpack

Police and family are concerned for Marcus’s well-being.

Marcus was reported missing to the Peel Regional Police Service on August 4. He was last seen by family in Brampton on July 29. Marcus was also seen at a gas station in Sudbury Ontario on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

The North Bay Police Service found Marcus’s vehicle in North Bay in the parking lot of Giant Tiger on Algonquin Ave. Investigation revealed that Marcus had been observed exiting his vehicle on July 30 at 7 a.m. and walking towards Taco Bell on Algonquin.
