The North Bay Police Service continues to look for the possible suspects connected to three suspiciously set fires last Thursday. It includes one that has left well-known restaurant Hoagies Diner shut down indefinitely due to smoke damage.
"We are continuing our investigation into these incidents," stated David Woolley, Corporate Communications Officer with the North Bay Police Service.
"There are no updates that we can release at this time."
Between 4:30 and 5 a.m. today North Bay Police accompanied members of the North Bay Fire and Emergency Service to three fires.

One occurred in the 1100-block of O’Brien Street, while the other two occurred at the intersection of Cassells Street and Third Avenue West. Fire crews at the scene were able to control and extinguish the fires.
Police do confirm they see no connection to Thursday's incident to the one in late November at Walmart in North Bay.
"At this time, police do not consider the November 21, 2020 Walmart fire to be related to these recent incidents," noted Woolley.

A photo of smoke coming out of a clothing rack at Walmart started to circulate the evening of the fire.
The store was evacuated and some staff members were sent home.
"Clothing just does not start on fire by itself," said Jason Whiteley, North Bay's Fire Chief the night of the fire.
The store fully reopened to the public on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
