When operators get a 911 call, they always followup, even if it's a hangup or pocket dial.
It paid off when a local 911 operator wouldn't give up on a call.
"Out of the dozens of accidental 911 calls we receive each month, dispatch persisted in trying to contact one caller tonight (Friday) who was later found in medical distress," police tweeted.
Police breached the door to allow paramedics access inside.
