OPP seeking info on driver who left scene of Highway 63 crash

Police say the lone driver of a red pick-up truck drove off of the highway into the bush and then fled from the scene on foot

North Bay OPP is seeking information about the driver who left this red truck off Highway 63 in Eldee and fled on foot.

The Ontario Provincial Police is requesting assistance from the public about a driver who failed to remain at the scene following a collision. 

On July 11, 2024, at approximately 2 p.m., the North Bay OPP received a call regarding a single-motor vehicle collision on Highway 63, Eldee Township. The police investigation revealed the lone driver of a red pick-up truck drove off of the highway into the bush and then fled from the scene on foot.

The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine Unit attended the scene to assist with this ongoing investigation.
