Ontario Northland will host a job fair in North Bay on Wednesday, February 17 to fill a number of vacancies, including nine production worker positions.
“This is an exciting time for Ontario Northland,” said Ontario Northland president and CEO Corina Moore, in a press release.
“There is a lot of work to do and we are looking for skilled, enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our team. The job fair will allow interested applicants to see our facilities, meet our team and view the quality work we produce in our remanufacturing and repair shop.”
The job fair will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the company’s remanufacturing and repair shop, located at 915 McIntyre Street East in North Bay.
In total, Ontario Northland says it is looking to fill more than 30 positions in the next three months.
In addition to the nine production worker positions, Ontario Northland is also accepting applications for the following positions, which will be recruited for over the next three months:
- Five Railway Car Mechanics (North Bay, Cochrane, Rouyn Noranda)
- Four Diesel Mechanics (North Bay, Cochrane, Englehart)
- Two Truck and Coach Mechanics (North Bay & Timmins)
- Metal Fabricators (Fitter)
- Two Electricians (Cochrane)
- Engineer in Training
- Engineering Specialist
- Junior Buyer
- Senior Manager Operations
- Chief Transportation Officer (Englehart or Cochrane)
- Supervisor of Passenger Services(Cochrane)
- Financial Analyst
- Business Process Analyst
- HR Business Partner
