One dead after collison on Hwy 17 East

OPP are on the scene of an accident on Highway 17 East, 8 kilometres west of Stonecliffe, where at least 1 person has died.

OPP are on the scene of an accident on Highway 17 East, 8 kilometres west of Stonecliffe, where at least 1 person has died.

East Region OPP responded to a call just after 11:30pm Sunday where that a transport carrying cardboard and a car had collided. It is further reported that the truck burst into flames and then the car caught on fire.

There are no further details on the accident at this time and the names of the victims have not been released.
