Laurentian Ave., one of the two entrances into Northgate, will be closed for the day this Thursday, Sept. 17, as part of an ongoing reconstruction project.
Traffic accessing businesses, including TD Canada Trust, Parker's Your Independent Grocer, and the Northgate Shopping Centre, will be directed to the mall entrance at Fisher and the bypass.
Laurentian Avenue, which has been reduced to a single lane for road reconstruction since the end of August, will reopen to a single lane for ingress only from Trout Lake Road Thursday evening.
The road reconstruction project, which includes the addition of cycling lanes and sharrows, is expected to be completed Sept. 25.
