It's an unusual name to be sure, but Just Shut Up And Try It Ferments owner Marketa Mervart is offering up jun, a kombucha-like drink at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
She explains how her probiotic-rich foods produced in North Bay can provide delicious food and great health benefits to interested visitors at the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion in Toronto this week.
Just Shut Up And Try It Ferments is a North Bay-based business that started with a fermentation crock and a passion for getting probiotic-rich foods, and now produces a line of probiotic-rich ferments. It is one of 45 businesses and organizations representing Northern Ontario at the 2023 the world’s largest combined indoor agricultural fair.

The FedNor-sponsored Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion, which started in 2001, is once again providing a spotlight for northern Ontario businesses on an international stage at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Since 2001, the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion has helped generate nearly $19 million in exhibitor sales.
