North Bay woman charged in break and enter

She left the property with approximately $1,000-worth of items belonging to the business

The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a 36-year-old woman with break and enter.

At 4:30 a.m. on September 20, a thief gained entry to a business on Haig Street and remained in the building until approximately 6:30 a.m. At that point, she left the property with approximately $1,000 worth of items belonging to the business.

That same afternoon she went to the North Bay Farmer’s Market where police say, she stole an item from a vendor. Police were called, but the suspect fled, Police located and arrested her a short time later on Main Street East.

Felicia Amanda Joan Nakogee, 36, of North Bay is charged with:

  • Break and enter a dwelling house to commit an indictable offence
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Two counts of failing to comply with a probation order

Nakogee was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
