North Bay Police are investigating a collision that involved their own SUV, which was T-boned by a Ford SUV only three blocks from North Bay Police Headquarters.
Eastbound traffic on Cassells Street was re-routed at Princess Street to get around the two-vehicle collision. Witnesses say the accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The delay was only temporary as a flatbed truck was called in to remove the damaged vehicles.
"The investigation into the incident is ongoing," stated David Woolley, corporate communications officer with the North Bay Police Service.
"Two North Bay Police Service officers were involved in a two-vehicle Motor Vehicle Collision at Princess and Cassells. Both officers and the operator of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries."
No word yet if any charges are pending.
