The North Bay Police Service continues to try to fill staffing vacancies.

Late last week the Service announced they have hired new Constable Devan Levinski.

Cst. Levinski joins North Bay after starting his policing career with the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service in 2022.

He holds a diploma from Canadore College and a degree from Nipissing University.

Mike Daze, deputy chief with the North Bay Police service believes Levinski is a welcome addition.

“We are very excited to have Cst. Levinski join us as an experienced officer," stated Daze in an emailed statement.

"I know his talent and dedication will serve the people of North Bay well. I am sure he will be an excellent addition to our team here at the North Bay Police Service.”

The North Bay Police, who recently swore in two new recruits in late September, are still trying to fill four sworn officer positions.
