The North Bay Farmers' Market is set for its season-opening on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. at the location on Oak Street followed by the weekday opening at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26.

This will mark the 19th year for the local Farmers' Market.

"Our market may look a little different but the one thing you can count on is that we will remain your premier stop for all things locally grown and created," organizers stated in a release.

"We are open rain or shine."

The Farmers' Market will also be permitted to have craft beer vendors set up at the outdoor market in downtown North Bay.

"The North Bay Farmers’ Market is very fortunate to be featuring the New Ontario Brewing Co. and Gateway City Brewery at our Saturday Market this year.  The addition of Craft Breweries is a very exciting complement to our one-stop, locally sourced shopping experience," Farmers' Market officials stated.

"Once again this year the market has been preparing by procuring all of the necessary safety protocols, hand sanitizer and signage as required
by the City of North Bay, North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit and Farmers’ Market Ontario in order to provide a safe shopping environment."

Farmers' Market officials note that many of the vendors are offering pre-order options for shoppers which can be done through the vendors' respective websites or social media platforms.
